So this was my first soundslide experience, and I really enjoyed working on this project. It took a lot of time, but I would rather do this than write another 20-page paper.
This story is about Muslims in Gainesville during the month of Ramadan, a time when Muslims refrain from eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset. It’s also a month in which Muslims spend more time practicing their religion.
I shot at two locations. The first is the Islamic Center of Gainesville, which is basically a mosque where Muslims pray. During Ramadan, there is free food everyday at the mosque, so some of my pictures from the mosque where of people participating in religious acts and others were of people eating. I also shot at the Islam on Campus—the Muslim student association at UF—Ramadan dinner. There were a lot of people at the event, and I got some really good pictures.
Here are my soundslides and I hope you like them.

That’s not you who’s talking in the video right?
Hi Abdullah
No it is not me. It’s the person I interviewed. His name is Sainel and you can se his pictures on the soundslides.
Did you like the project?
Yes it’s awesome! Very nice and professional.
